The meeting will take place in ZBW – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics at Neuer Jungfernstieg 21 in Hamburg. The ZBW is the world’s largest research infrastructure for economic literature, online as well as offline.

Directions from the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof)

Take the Underground U1 (to Norderstedt) to Stephansplatz station. Then use the Esplanade Street until the corner of the Binnenalster, where you can find the entrance of ZBW at Neuer Jungfernstieg.

Directions from the railway station Hamburg-Dammtor

Take the exit Messe/CCH. From there it takes around 10 minutes to walk to ZBW. Please use the pedestrian bridge to the left of the exit and continue straight ahead to the big intersection. At the intersection you cross Dammtordamm on the left side towards the Casino and then to the right. Follow Esplanade leftwards until it intersects with Neuer Jungfernstieg. In the first building on your right hand you will find the ZBW.

Directions from Hamburg Airport

Take the S-Bahn S1 (leaves every 10 minutes, Ticket 3,30 Euro) to the City Centre until Jungfernstieg station (duration ca. 30 minutes). From there it’s a 500 Meter walk along the Binnenalster until you reach the ZBW entrance.

Alternatively you can also use a Taxi from the Airport, which takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the ZBW and costs ca. 25-30 Euro.
